The 2023-2024 school year has officially started, which means our crew is busy with stocking our shelves for the year! We will not be passing out food bags until October. If you are interested in participating in our program, please get in contact with your school office.

In April, we participated in the Kitsap Great Give, a 24 hour online donation event to help non-profits in our community. With the help of this event, we were able to raise over $9,000 to go towards our program to help families in need, here in Kitsap County! We are so grateful for the overwhelming support of our community and how these donations will change lives. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Central Kitsap School District started school this past week and it is so nice to see students on campus again! We are starting to plan out meals and purchase food for when we start to send bags home in October.

We are so grateful for all of our volunteers who help us out to keep our program afloat. We are currently packing close to 300 bags a week which serves over 200 families.

School has been in session for just over two months and we are constantly amazed at how many schools, families, and students we are reaching!

Schools are back in session this year and we are anxiously waiting to find out what our numbers are looking like from the Learning Specialists at each of the schools that we serve.

Although the schools in Central Kitsap School District are closed for in-school instruction for the remainder of the year due to Covid-19, we are working closely with the school Learning Specialists to ensure that students are still receiving their supplemental food.
